We are looking to have a simple plug-in developed for IE6/IE7.
The plugin will allow a user to hightlight text on the web page, and then when they right click on the text, there will be three options.
1. WildFire Setup Options . This will have the following controls. A username and password field that will allow the user to store their credentials. A radio button with two options "Production" and "Staging" which they can toggle between.
2. WildFire Post/Update/Remove: If you the user selects this option, the system will perform an HTTP post to a designated URL. The post should pop-up a new window (no toolbar, etc). The plug-in will construct the url based on whether the setting is set for "Production" or "Staging". It will then use the username and password fields, posting those fields into the page, and finally, it will Pass the highlighted text with the variable name "ExternalJobID"
If the user right clicks, without highlighting any text, and clicks "Post/Update/Remove", they will be presented with a simple form with one textBox and a "Post" button. When they type in the value into the textbox and click POST, it will perform the exact same function as if they highlighted the text.
3. The third option will say "WildFire Check Status". Again, if the user has highlighted some text and chooses this option, the system will perform a basic HTTP Post to a new page, popping up the page in a new pop-up window. In this case it will still pass the username/password in the post, but will then also send a variable called IJobID with the highlighted text.
Finally, if the user right clicks without any highlighted text, they will be presetned with that simple form with one text box and a "check status" button, which after they type in the value and click "Check Status", it will run the same HTTP POST.
We will supply the URL's for the Production AND Staging Settings for the "Post/Update/REmove" AND the "Check Status" functions. We will also provide a test account so that you can verify the pages are coming up properly.
This should be a very simple project. All it's really doing is making 2 web calls from within the browser to the destination urls.
Delivery would include the setup/install .exe and the source code.
Hello.
I'm interested in your project. It's easy for me. I intend using ATL C++ to implement the project, so the plugin will be fast and compact.
Best regards, Sergey
