this job is about creating a simple desktop database solution.
The situation is as following. I have different documents (invoices, time sheets, receipts etc.) that have different attributes. Those are the date and the person from whom they are. I need a program with wich I can attach those attributes to certain files and then filter them in a table.
E.g. I have an invoice of Mr. Marcus from Dec 2009. I have to input that [url removed, login to view] is an invoice and that it is from Mr. Marcus. Later I go to the table and enter that I want to see e.g. all invoices from Mr. Marcus. Then also the link to [url removed, login to view] should appear.
I have created a sample file of the user interface, of course the design should be a bit nicer.
When you input them into the database, it should store the original files (docs, tiffs, jpgs, pdfs) automatically in a monthly folder. E. g. Originals -->2009-->December
Furthermore when stored those files should be geting a name automatically in this form „name“, „date“, „kind“, so in this example the filename would be „Mr. Marcus, 09-2009, [url removed, login to view]“
Two important features. I want a live search like in itunes. That means that if you enter just a letter the list should already start to filter.
The second feature is that you should be able to drag and drop files into the path field. That means if you drag marcus2009 into the field for path, the path should be filled in automatically.
I have no preference concerning the programm, but I guess that c would be best suited – there I am open for suggestions.I pay premiums for good solution, just look as my record here of GAF! Please post in your offer the software that you suggest to do that project on. It should not be web based.
