I'm looking for a program that works along side an existing Java applet that is part of a pay-to-use service. Here is what I need:
The Java applet that I use is an interactive webcast of racing sessions (practice, qualifying, and race). As part of the program, it lists each driver's individual lap times, the drivers position, and how far off the leader they are; all as that driver's lap is compeleted. However, the program does not store any of this information once it has been refreshed; which is exactly what I would like to do. So my proposal would be a program that accesses the information in the existing Java applet and stores it in a database (as it is refreshed); then build a simple GUI to manipulate the data. I would also need to able to export this information to an Excel document in an easy manner. If it is possible, I would prefer it be written in C#, but I think it may have to be Java in order to communicate with the existing applet. Below is a link to a demo of the application I am referring to; just click the "Lauch Race Demo" button. I look forward to your replies and suggestions.

Once the app is loaded, click the "Leaderboard" tab. This is where the information I would like to store is located.
