I'm looking for anybody with an understanding of Cocoa Touch programming and in particular iPhone memory management.
I am a newbie iPhone developer and have written an app, already available on the App Store.
I'm currently trying to improve the application and in particular its memory management. An area which I'm struggling on myself.
Also - there are issues with a memory leak associated with the UIImagePickerController that is well documented on the web. I am struggling to resolve this issue too.
The application essentially does the following:
- Takes a picture from the camera (or library).
- Applies various Quartz filters and graphics to that image.
- Allows the user to save the result.
Currently the user can process and save only two photos before the application crashes due to memory overload.
I assume there is about a day's (or less) work involved (for a competent cocoa touch programmer) to go over my code - optimize it - and correct its memory issues.
I come from a design background and the application is great from that perspective. I'm looking for somebody who knows what they are doing when it comes to the code to make a sweet little app work well. I also have several other projects planned or in development - i will therefore likely have later work for anyone interested.
