Job Description:
I have designed a tabletop game called "Bud Barons". It is a competitive game about growing pot plants for profit. The person for this job will have a positive attitude about the subject matter. If the idea of marketing a marijuana game makes you feel nervous or sketchy at all, or you simply have zero understanding of pot culture, please move along to other projects. I don't have time to sell or justify my perfectly legitimate and legal game to someone who just doesn't get it.
Please be excited and willing to show ideas and creative approaches. I have a website where you can familiarize yourself with the product: www.budbarons.com. There is also a Facebook page, Bud Barons. They are both minimal and under-developed, having been made years ago, but don't make a bid without looking at one of them, at least. I intend to have the site updated as appropriate to our final marketing plan.
Crowdfunding may be an acceptable approach, but there is not enough of a following currently to mess with Kickstarter; would prefer to host it on my own site, if we go that way. Currently, I am looking into grants/business loans that might cover the production and marketing costs. Either way it ends up being produced, the site should be set up to take pre-orders as soon as I am able to have production begin.
This is a niche product that should interest gamers, and marijuana enthusiasts, primarily. Please indicate if you have the skills for subsequent steps in the process, such as implementing social media ads and posts, web design, crowdfunding, writing compelling copy, etc., as it will likely take multiple projects to launch the entire campaign (unless you build these steps into your bid).
