Small Business Owner – AI Evaluation (English) Job Type: Contract / Contractor Assignment Location: India – English Speakers Experience: Minimum 2+ years Contract Duration: 16 weeks (4 months) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Required Overlap: Minimum 4 hours with PST working hours (Approximate overlap in IST: 8:30 PM / 9:00 PM – 12:30 AM.) Rate: Up to $12/hour Job Highlights: Looking for candidates with direct experience running or managing a small business or their own venture, including small business owners, entrepreneurs, proprietors, and founders, with English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking. About the Opportunity We are looking for small business owners and professionals with strong hands-on experience in small business operations to participate in an AI evaluation project. In this role, you will interact with and evaluate AI chatbots across realistic small-business scenarios. You will create business-related prompts, compare AI-generated responses, and provide structured feedback based on accuracy, usefulness, clarity, and overall quality. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have practical experience running or managing a small business and are comfortable using digital tools, reviewing information, and providing thoughtful feedback. Key Responsibilities Create realistic business-related prompts based on real-world small business needs. Interact with multiple AI chatbots, with conversations of up to 5 turns. Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses. Assess responses for accuracy, clarity, relevance, and usefulness. Provide structured feedback and comparative evaluations. Review conversation transcripts and submit evaluation results. Use business-related documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and other files during evaluations. Evaluate AI responses across different small-business scenarios. Areas You May Work On - Marketing & Visual Content: Creating and evaluating marketing content. Developing ideas for flyers, campaigns, product catalogs, artwork, and promotional materials. Reviewing or modifying business logos and product images. Candidates should be comfortable providing their own business-related visual assets when required. Daily Operations & Customer Management: Evaluating AI responses related to daily business operations. Managing workflows, inventory, logistics, schedules, and customer interactions. Reviewing business documents and files to support realistic scenarios. Exploring ways AI can reduce manual administrative work. Market Research & Business Ideation: Conducting competitor and market research. Understanding target customers and identifying potential customer profiles. Evaluating business ideas, growth strategies, and market opportunities. Contributing practical insights based on your business experience. Data Analysis & Financial Planning: Working with business data, spreadsheets, and financial documents. Evaluating AI-generated insights related to budgeting, cash flow, pricing, quoting, and profitability. Reviewing AI responses for accuracy and practical usefulness in financial planning scenarios. Requirements 2+ years of experience as a small business owner, entrepreneur, business operator, or professional with strong practical knowledge of small business operations. Strong understanding of day-to-day small business activities. Excellent English communication and comprehension skills. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to evaluate information objectively and provide detailed feedback. Comfortable using AI tools and chatbots. Ability to follow detailed evaluation guidelines consistently. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and other business-related documents. Business-related documents and portfolio materials must be available in English. Candidates must be able to provide examples or evidence of their business experience in English. The type of business does not matter. We welcome candidates from different industries and business backgrounds, provided they have meaningful hands-on small-business experience. Work Commitment Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Minimum 4 hours of overlap with PST working hours. Contract assignment for approximately 16 weeks. This is a contractor engagement and does not include medical benefits or paid leave.
