Logo re-design

This document defines the approved visual direction for Hair & Beauty Souk so another designer can execute final logo files cleanly. ⸻ 1. Approved Logo Type (LOCKED) Primary logo style: • Wordmark only • Two-line hierarchy • Line 1: HAIR & BEAUTY • Line 2: SOUK • SOUK sits centered beneath HAIR & BEAUTY • Thin horizontal rules (left and right) aligned to the vertical center of SOUK Colour treatment: • HAIR & BEAUTY → Charcoal / near-black • SOUK → Warm gold • Horizontal rules → Same warm gold as SOUK What to avoid: • Icons, illustrations, symbols • Script or decorative fonts • Single-line logo lockups • Colour gradients This structure is the only approved logo layout. ⸻ 2. Colour Palette (FINAL) Primary Colours Charcoal (Primary Text) • HEX: #1E1E1E • RGB: 30, 30, 30 • Usage: Main logo text, headings, body text Warm Gold (Accent / Brand Highlight) • HEX: #C6A04A • RGB: 198, 160, 74 • Usage: SOUK, horizontal rules, accents Background Colours Cream (Primary Background) • HEX: #F6F2EB • RGB: 246, 242, 235 • Usage: Website background, hero areas, logo background White (Secondary Background) • HEX: #FFFFFF • RGB: 255, 255, 255 • Usage: Documents, emails, clean layouts ⸻ 3. Logo Usage Rules • Logo must always appear on cream or white backgrounds • Do not recolour the logo outside the approved palette • Do not stretch, compress, or skew • Maintain clear space equal to the height of the letter O in SOUK around the logo ⸻ 4. Background & Contrast Guidance • Use cream as the default brand surface where possible • White is acceptable for documents and emails • Avoid dark backgrounds unless a reversed logo is created separately ⸻ 5. Handover Notes for Designer The final designer should: • Rebuild the logo using the approved structure above • Apply the approved colour values exactly • Export final assets as: • SVG (vector) • PDF (print) • PNG (web, high resolution) Font choice intentionally excluded from this document and to be finalised during rebuild.
