Define digital marketing strategy for exciting online payments company including competitive analysis, personas, messaging, taglines to support the creation of a new website that attracts leads that will convert into new customers.


We have a website that is confusing, [login to view URL], that does not speak to a problem our merchants have or offer solutions. People who come to our website more often than not ask what we do. We are an online payment processing company and this simple fact is not communicated to the detriment of ourselves and future new customers.

We are looking for an individual or team that can help complete the rebuild, rebranding, and messaging of our corporate website with the potential for an ongoing relationship to support overall marketing needs. We are currently engaged with a project for our new virtual identity and branding for the website. Now we need to complete the project and design of the website clarifying our digital strategy and messaging.

We expect marketing and website strategy to include competitive analysis and other similar forms of research and our workshops to support the end goal.


The leadership at Vendo changed hands in June 2021. New leadership is radically changing the culture of the company to empowerment and engagement with a heavy focus on exploration and serving our clients. We do not build products we love. We build products that will make and keep our merchants happy. We need a way to communicate this to the outside world.

At Vendo, we have a culture of learning through others. The leaders all understand the fundamentals of marketing but are not marketing "Pros". Our objective is to work with a team/individual or teams that we can learn from and guide us through the process of completing our new corp website and support us in the visioning of our new marketing strategy.

Peter Drucker states business has two functions: 1. Innovation, 2. Marketing. Vendo has not had a marketing department since 2019.

We have been active in our current market segment which is high-risk payment processing for 15 years and we are still relatively unknown. If you ask the market to recommend a payment processor they will not mention Vendo in the top 3. This needs to change. We have the technology and capacity to be a market leader. We must Be Known.

Currently, 90% of our business comes from our current market segment. In 2022/2023 we expect this to change dramatically with mainstream becoming more than 50% of our portfolio.

We will generate a 100% referability event. This means that everyone who comes in contact with Vendo whether they are a merchant, prospect, supplier, or other are so impressed with Vendo they tell others about us.

In this project, we expect to learn about marketing while having fun with new team members (you) creating massive value for Vendo's three clients: 1. Company 2. Staff 3. Merchants
