Two things about this manuscript decide whether you get your 99%. The first is that handwritten Devanagari cannot be OCR'd to that standard. Conjuncts, matras and the Sanskrit passages defeat it, and shlok numbering comes back scrambled. Anyone quoting you a fast turnaround on 200-plus handwritten pages is almost certainly running OCR and cleaning the output, and it will fail your line-by-line check on exactly the passages you care most about. This has to be typed by hand and proofed by a second pass. I will not pretend otherwise to win the job. The second is the font. Mangal is fine on screen but it is a legacy face, and at print sizes its conjuncts and matra placement are noticeably weaker than a modern OpenType Devanagari such as Noto Serif Devanagari. Both are Unicode, so your PDF stays searchable and selectable either way. You asked for Mangal or a mainstream equivalent; I would show you a sample page in both before committing the book. On price and scope, honestly. Over 200 pages of manual typing, proofing, layout, generated table of contents and a press-ready PDF is not deliverable at the posted figure, and I would rather say that now than discover it at page 60. What I propose: a funded first milestone of 25 pages, including the chapter hierarchy, footnote handling and the TOC mechanism, delivered as a sample you check line by line against the original. If the accuracy holds, we agree a per-page rate for the remainder.
