Scope and objectives
The overall goal for the proposed work aims to have an overall security measure for IoV by proposing an adaptable and dynamic BC-based security framework for multi-element authentication. The authentication must consider the limitations of powered IoV devices, network modeling, and the existing communication between various parties. Also, the delay introduced by the proposed scheme needs to be analyzed because the IoV has to work in real-time for the authentication-validation process.
The objectives to be achieved are:
• To develop communication and attack models for IoV. The communication model is based on clustering topology focusing on V2V and V2I where the authentication will take place.
• To Design an authentication scheme of IoV system-based on BC.
• To evaluate the performance of the proposed authentication mechanism in terms of security against Sybil and GPS dissimulation attacks.
