I’m planning a full-scale GIS upskilling programme for a cohort of 40 colleagues and need a seasoned trainer who can guide them through both 2D and 3D mapping workflows from the ground up. The end-goal is practical, job-ready skill enhancement rather than formal certification, so every concept must translate directly to day-to-day project work. Scope * Design and deliver a curriculum that balances fundamentals with advanced techniques, moving from basic layer creation through to interactive 3D scene building. * Work with whichever stack you feel is most effective—ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, CityEngine, or complementary tools like PostGIS and Blender—so long as trainees leave able to choose and justify the right tool for a task. * Blend lecture-style explanations with hands-on exercises using real-world datasets I will supply (municipal infrastructure and environmental layers). * Structure the timetable so the entire group can participate live, whether on-site or via a virtual classroom platform you provide. Key deliverables 1. Detailed training schedule and slide deck before kick-off 2. Step-by-step lab manuals and sample datasets for each module 3. Live instruction for all sessions (approximate total contact time: let me know your recommendation) 4. Session recordings and Q&A logs for later reference 5. A short post-training assessment to confirm knowledge transfer Acceptance criteria * At least 80 % of participants demonstrate the ability to build, analyse, and visualise spatial data in both 2D and 3D without assistance during the final exercise. * All materials remain accessible for internal reuse. Dear sir/madam, I am Sunbeam Rahman, a GIS professional working in this field for 12+ years. I specialize in spatial analysis, remote sensing analysis, computer cartography, and spatial modeling based in Canada. I have an MSc in Geography and an MGIS degree at the University of Calgary. I have long experience outlining, organizing, and delivering GIS workshops and seminars. During 2014–16, I delivered over 200 hours of GIS training to field professionals from various NGOs, government stuffs and students in Bangladesh. I have also taught classes in several in-house capacity-building sessions. I covered topics from basic GIS, georeferencing, and data structure to hands-on sessions including field data collection and validation, map presentation, data cleaning, GDB management and geoprocessing, using ArcGIS, Survey123, AGOL, etc. I prepared several training guides and modules which were well received. My agenda usually starts with a basic training needs assessment. Combined with the nature of the audience (education, age etc.) this guides how to outline the session and which stack to choose.
