I have a series of custom 3-D teeth scans and I need a single Blender file that turns any of those scans into a finished set of diamond grillz with minimum effort. After I import a scan I should be able to: • Select the faces that will be covered. • Dial in shell thickness, individual diamond size, overall diamond count and—most important to me—precise spacing so the stones never overlap. The system has to: 1. Generate a clean inner/outer shell that hugs the tooth geometry. 2. Scatter diamonds so they follow the curvature of the chosen area, stay evenly spaced, and align their normals to the surface. 3. Expose the four controls mentioned above in an easy-to-find panel or modifier stack; one slider for spacing is the top priority. 4. Work on any future scan without node rewiring—just select, adjust, and apply. Blender’s Geometry Nodes are the obvious route, but I’m open to an addon if it keeps everything in one .blend file. I need the first functional build as soon as possible; polish and documentation can follow right after. Deliverables • The .blend template with clearly labeled node groups or modifiers. • A one-page quick-start (or short screen recording) showing the workflow on one of my scans. • A brief note on how to swap in different diamond objects should I decide to change the cut. I will supply a sample scan and a diamond OBJ the moment we start so you can test spacing and fit immediately.
