1. Review the attached category sales spreadsheet and identify the top selling items and categories
2. Research the average cost of purchasing the top selling items from a wholesaler or store like Costco, Smart and Final, etc.
3. I’ve attached a pdf of each of the new vending machines we are planning to purchase. Please take a look at the specifications of each vending machine to make a suggestion on how many of which item we should purchase to fill the vending machine. Example: Vending Machine AB42/296’s top row has space for 5 food items on the top row. Based off your results from the first two steps, which item(s) would you suggest we stock the first row with, the second row, third and so on and how many.
4. Determine the total amount how much we should pay for the first order of items to stock all 4 machines.
5. Using the spreadsheet, determine the cost of each item that you suggest we purchase and estimate the revenue that we would make if all items are sold for each machine.
Excel file of the items are what we've sold via vending machine and over the counter. You will need to research to see if the items can be fit into the vending machine. If not, please discard the item.
This is a non-profit organization work propelled by students so we are very short funded. Please quote your lowest price.
