How I would build it: the Routes API called once per booking, with leg distance and duration written onto the booking row so a later price change never rewrites old trips. Your app sends pickup and drop to a PHP endpoint that holds the Maps key, so the key never ships inside the app. Admin reads the same table. Is the fare per km or flat by zone? How we would build it: Directions API for the route, Distance Matrix for the leg distances, cached by key so repeat lookups don't eat quota, then each booking posted to a PHP backend the panel reads.
