The official WhatsApp Business API only delivers a pre-approved template to a customer who has not messaged you first, and every variable in that template has to match the approved shape exactly, so a bill row with an empty field fails at Meta rather than in your spreadsheet. The script therefore validates each row against the template before anything goes out, and hands the bad rows back to you instead of sending a broken message to a customer. Sending is paced rather than fired in a loop, since a new number pushing a promotional blast gets its quality rating dropped and its throughput cut soon after, which is the usual way one of these dies in week two. Each message's delivery callback is written back against its own row, so you see sent, delivered and failed per customer, and only the genuinely retryable failures are retried. Bills and promotions are one pipeline with a different template and a different attachment, so the banner and the billing PDF ride the same path rather than needing two separate tools. The thing that moves the timeline most: do you already hold a verified WhatsApp Business account with the bill and promo templates approved, or is getting those through Meta approval part of this?
