Structural Engineer for NM Agricultural Project

New Mexico Licensed Structural Engineer Needed – Hoop House Structural Stamp (Lovington, NM) **PROJECT OVERVIEW** We are seeking a **New Mexico licensed Professional Structural Engineer (PE)** to review, analyze, and provide stamped structural drawings and calculations for existing agricultural hoop house structures located in Lovington, New Mexico. Structures are already erected; this is a **post-construction structural certification** for building permit compliance with the State of New Mexico and the City of Lovington. **PROJECT DETAILS** Location: Lovington, New Mexico (Lea County) Total Structures: 15 Existing Hoop Houses • Five (5) – 30’ x 120’ • Ten (10) – 30’ x 100’ Structures consist of steel arch frames with polyethylene covering used for agricultural cultivation. Site plans and hoop house diagrams will be provided to the selected engineer. **SCOPE OF WORK** • Structural review of existing hoop house frames, anchoring, and bracing • Wind load, environmental load, and code compliance analysis for Lovington, NM • Preparation of stamped structural drawings and calculations • Identification of any required structural reinforcements • Engineer stamp suitable for City of Lovington permit submission **REQUIREMENTS** • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Mexico • Experience with agricultural structures, hoop houses, or light steel framing preferred • Ability to provide stamped plans and calculations **DELIVERABLES** • Stamped structural drawings (PDF) • Structural calculations • Engineering letter or narrative suitable for permit submission **IMPORTANT NOTES** • Structures are already installed – this is NOT new design or ground-up construction • Existing site plans will be provided for reference • Engineer may request photos, measurements, or virtual walkthrough **TO APPLY** Please include: • NM PE license number • Relevant project experience • Estimated cost and timeline to deliver stamped structural package
