Our four-piece rock-and-pop band is playing a two-hour set in a medium-size venue (roughly 100-500 capacity). All backline, microphones, cables, stands and wedges are already in place, and the front end runs through a Soundcraft Ui24R that we control via tablet. What I need: an experienced FOH engineer who can arrive an hour before doors, walk the room during line-check, build a clear, punchy mix on the Ui24R, ride levels through the show and help us mute down and power off at the end. No multitrack or stereo recording is required—just a solid live mix that keeps vocals on top and the rhythm section tight without feedback. Familiarity with the Soundcraft Ui series, wireless mixing workflows and basic live troubleshooting is essential. If you can move quickly between the floor and the stage, communicate calmly with the band and nail a balanced rock-pop sound in a single pass, you’re the person we need.
