Distorted Conversation Audio Repair

I have a short conversation recording—just one or two separate files—that suffers from noticeable distortion. The dialogue is important, so I need the voices cleaned up until they sound natural and intelligible without introducing artefacts or an over-processed feel. You may use any workflow you prefer (iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, Spectralayers, etc.), as long as the finished tracks are delivered in the same formats I supply (WAV and an MP3 reference). Acceptance criteria: • Voices are clearly understood with no audible clipping or crackle. • Overall tonal balance stays faithful to the original. • No new hiss, echo, or pumping effects.
