The challenge here is getting the vocal tighter without having the vocal stem available, so the correction needs to be precise enough to improve the performance while leaving the rest of the mix untouched as much as possible. I’m a Music Producer and Audio Engineer experienced in vocal editing, pitch correction, and working with stereo mixes. I can use Antares Auto-Tune as the core tuning tool, with complementary processing where needed, and keep the correction subtle and musical rather than introducing an obvious Auto-Tune effect. Antares specifically recommends slower retune speeds, Flex-Tune, and Humanize when the goal is natural-sounding correction. That means any pitch correction I do will need to account for the instrumental context - if the guitars or synths are sitting slightly flat or sharp, aggressive tuning can create phase issues or make the vocals sound disconnected from the track. I'd approach this by ear-mapping the mix first, then using Auto-Tune in Graphical Mode rather than Real-Time to surgically target only the moments that actually need it. For harmonies, I'd layer them subtly underneath rather than stacking them obvious, so they thicken the chorus without drawing attention away from the lead.
