I have a classic ASP page which has a form to upload a CSV file via the FreeASPUpload script. The CSV files that can be uploaded are typically around 15MB. After the upload has finished, the page processes the data in the CSV and adds it to an MS Access database. I believe this part takes the most time.
I tried cutting down the CSV to a small file size and the upload and data processing works just fine. However, when uploading a larger file, it just stalls and the page never loads. I'm not sure if it's during the upload process or during the process of adding data to the database.
Originally, the script was timing out with an error, but I tried setting the script timeout and max file size for uploads to higher values, and now nothing happens after trying to use the form.
The server is running on Windows Server 2007 with IIS 7. I have tried the same page on two other servers and it works without any problems.
I need someone to fix the problem so that the CSV uploads and processes correctly. I will provide a test CSV file and RDP access to the server. Project will be complete when it is possible to upload the CSV file without the script stalling or bringing up an error.
Payment will be made via GAF escrow.
