I am developing a web site with DreamWeaver CS3 and CartWeaver 3 for ASP (not .net). The product nature of the site requires the expanded image to be very large (800 x 1200 pixels approximately – which in fact is a web page combining a few images to show the product from different angles with specific details). The CartWeaver pop-up window that shows the expanded image (on clicking the ‘View Large Image’ on [url removed, login to view] page) is just not large enough; and, it cannot be linked to an URL address.
CartWeaver Supports told me the best way is to use an HTML editor like tinyMCE to edit the CartWeaver admin; In this case I can add a link (in form of a button or a group of text) on each product description of the [url removed, login to view] page and point it to the appropriate URL address.
I know not much about codes; my client only understands GUI. So I need an HTML editor which is user friendly for me to integrate it with the site now; and for my client to type in her product description with basic formatting and an URL link in the future. I believe there should be such an editor available (probably with cost). I have downloaded tinyMCE, which is free, but have no clue how to use it. I have also downloaded fckeditor. Which looks closer to what I need but I don’t have the time to dig through its documentation because the back office part of the site needed to be completed within this week.
Your job would be to recommend to me the right editor; and to teach me: 1. how to integrate it with my site (what scripts to put on which page, etc). 2. How to type in and format product descriptions and insert URL link after the integration. This has to be done before 24th, May.
