Website incorporating clickable video

The client is a supermarket chain. The purpose of the website is to show video recipes to customers with click through technology which leads to product pages. When a customer visits the web site, they would have a screen containing a menu of meal [login to view URL] may be by meat type, by recipe name or even by approximate budget. It may need to be a drop down menu. So if they click ‘PORK’ all the recipes with pork are loaded. When they click one of these links a ‘how to cook it’ video will begin playing (Flash). The video’s will be a ‘hypervideos’ with clickable objects See [login to view URL] for an example Clicking the item in the video – say butter – will bring up a video overlay that gives some brief info about the product – and this overlay can in turn be clicked to bring up a product webpage. (This does not need to be an online store at this point). When the video ends if the customer wants to make the recipe they can add it to a ‘shopping cart’ – which gives them the opportunity to print the recipes and a final shopping list of ingredients at the end. It doesn’t need to be a real commerce shopping cart. The website will need to be database driven with the ability for the client to manage it. The videos will be provided. Text will be provided As it’s an established brand there will be minimal graphic design – but it will need to be tidily and professionally put together. We have the technology for the click though (it’s flash actionscript and an extension) and can provide you with it. There may be some need to fine tune this though to integrate it with the website. A portfolio of high end web sites is essential. Terms of trade. We pay 25% upon satisfactory work in progress (to us) – in this case it will be a first draft website – or working sample pages. 75% upon final delivery of all work, working on a server. All source files will need to be provided. If this is not suitable – please don’t bid. Please ask questions on the clarification board. Only bids through the proper channels are considered.
