We have multiple web projects.
We have multiple sharepoint projects.
The websites can be done in DotNetNuke, as it seems that's all anyone knows how to do.
But we also need someone that can use SHAREPOINT DESIGNER to make intranet and internet websites connected to a SQL database. So that we can manipulate data inputted internally in the office or externally via web.
We are not pay $20 or even $10/USD an hour. We know the exchange rates.
If you want consistent work, and can ACTUALLY DO THE WORK - not just bid on it, then bid.
We own the code. We pay after we are delivered a working copy of the website, or webpart, or form, or application, or whatever.
For $250.00 I can hire an American programmer on a piecework basis.
At this writing, 1 USD = about 50 Rupee.
Average Software Engineer salary in India = 300,000 Rupee
That's $6,000 USD per year.
A little over $100 USD/week.
But I expect American level of performance for this pay.
If you were actually worth it, and actually worked full time on the project, we could pay 300,000 (or more) rupee per year to someone - plus bonuses. But what we get is attempts to turn in 5-10 hours of work for full time pay.
So, each project will be posted in turn, just for you, since that's the only way to get things done here.
Additionally, this work is confidential. We're not posting everything about it here, and all work must be made so that we can easily port it to the final destination. If we cannot run the website where we want to, without having you move it, the job is not done.
That means any variables or scripting that references DB names or website roots/directories needs to be modifiable.
All of this would work best if you knew how to correctly use SHAREPOINT DESIGNER or other similar software. We'll pay more for that than DotNetNuke crap.
PROJECT ONE: (Your test)
Professional site. Needs to look clean. I can give examples, but do not need an exact close.
No shopping carts.
Form to SQL, form to email functions through Sharepoint.
Customer can enter contact info.
Graphics, layout, the works.
Site less than 10 pages.
You will need to provide areas where we can put large section of text in each page. (essentially articles).
You are building the frame, graphics (per our specs in IM), navigation, functionality as a shell - and we will add text content. PM me for sample websites.
If I had time to do this, and the skill level many of you claim, I could do it in a day. Because I've done classic ASP programming back when FrontPage was the best there was. Assembly coding, and scripting by text file. I don't have the time to do it, or I wouldn't be posting it here.
There has got to be SOMEONE out there, that really wants to work.
