I have designed a front end menu page in flash with 9 buttons for use offline on a standalone PC, these buttons navigate me to 9 seperate frames by using "trace ("frame Label) which all works fine.
However, on these frames which I can navigate too and from, I have put one video on each of them, (using "file>import to stage>from my computer>progressive etc.) and then placed these videos into movie clips on the frame. This all works and they play fine etc, and all the skin commands work when I export to an swf/projector file...
Problem 1 is: when I jump to say frame 4 play that video then back frame 2 and play that video then frame 6 and play that video - THE PERFORMANCE REALLY DROPS OFF and the videos play really jerkily and slowly... I think the videos are continuing to play even after I have left that frame and gone to the next video - so they are all playing simultaneously....
HOW DO I SOLVE THIS PERFORMANCE ISSUE???
On frame 1 layer 1 I am using the following code to fullscreen, then stop as its a menu page that requires the user to select a button:
However this is fullscreening a video that I have in a movie clip on my menu page - rather than fullscreening the menu page itself... (and I have to press "esc" to jump out of the video fullscreen which knocks the whole presentation out of fullscreen.
HOW DO I FULLSCREEN THE PRESENTATION NOT SIMPLY A VIDEO WITHIN IT???
