Combat Films had an ASP newsletter developed about a week ago, and we have now decided on some changes we would like made. The original creator declined our request as he is busy learning C. So, we wish to receive quotes on someone who is willing to modify what we have. We would like to get all this done without having to modify the MDB. If the MDB does need to be modified, we MUST NOT lose all of our current subscribers during this modification. Here are descriptions of the things we would like done: 1. In the staff section, when you are viewing the alphabetical lists of either the entire list or a specific group of interest, we would like to be able to click on the headers (ID, Username, and Email) to sort alphanumerically by that header. For example, I click "ID" and it sorts in the numerical order of the ID numbers. I then click "Username", and it sorts alphabetically by the name, and finally I click "Email" and it sorts alphabetically by their email. 2. We would like to assign everyone in our database a boolean (true or false) variable "customer". The default will be false, and all new subscriptions will start out set to false. 3. We would like another page in the staff section. This page would be identical to the [url removed, login to view] page, so we could add users to the list. The only difference would be this: on the staff-only page, there would be an extra field: you would be able to set the "customer" variable to true. SO, if we put in a new email address, we can make them a customer, and also if we put in an email which was already in our system, it will update that email so that it is customer=true. 4. On the Send Email page, we need to be able to send somehow to all members with customer=true. So the basic summarry of steps 2-4, we need to be able to add or change people to previous customers, and optionally send only to people who have purchased from us before. 5. We need a part on the staff page which tells us exactly how many subscribers we have. 6. We would like a way to attach files (like PDF or JPG) to the email. Just a button that says "BROWSE" and you select a file, and it comes as an attachment when the email is sent. Please bid on this project, if you are accepted please email me, the webmaster. I will reply with a ZIP file with all of the ASP pages in it, as well as a basic description left from the old programmer of what each file does to help you out. Thank you for your interest.
