The following a brief guideline for the assignment:
i. Provide a brief overview/background of the company selected and link this to an overview of
the nature of change being implemented and why this change is necessary. Thus identify and
critically assess the cause/need for change.
ii. Critically discuss the effectiveness of the implementation of the change program. Discussion
must include specific issues arising from the change agenda (eg. resistance to change in the
organization, communication, vision, expertise, etc). this involves assessing the quality of
tools implemented to manage the change and/or the role of change leaders in this process.
In doing so, ensure you critically discuss and justify what was done effectively? And what
was not? Also include justified alternative interventions that might have been more effective
in helping to implement the change smoothly. If this information is not available, make
inferences from other sources of information).
iii. Critically assess the long term sustainability of the change implemented.
