We are a social science research company located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. Currently, we are assisting the International Labour Organization (ILO), part of the United Nations, in the development and implementation of a series of studies around the new "gig" economy—the Study of Digital Platform Workers. They are interested in learning how freelance platforms are contributing, how workers use them to make a living, how they are helpful in advancing their careers, etc.
We are currently looking for workers who work on freelancing platforms (i.e., Freelancer, etc.) in conducting their freelance work. It is important that we connect with freelancers who are active in a range of different fields and project types on the digital platforms since we would like to better understand workers motivation to perform such tasks, understand the working conditions and employment patterns of these workers. So, no matter what your speciality, if you routinely use these platforms for work, you qualify for the study!
