MoveFast LLC is looking for freelance Content Writers to regularly contribute passionate, fun, and informative blog content focusing on Japanese food, travel, culture, fashion, cosmetics and more!
Freelance Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on relevant topics, generating ideas for new content and ensuring SEO guidelines have been implemented before publication. If you love Japan, are confident in producing compelling content and possess a razor sharp attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you. Please provide several samples of your published work or portfolio along with your CV.
Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality, well-optimized articles that engage our audiences, attract new customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Research related topics (combining online sources, interviews, etc)
- Write compelling blog content that engages and informs your audience
- Prepare well-structured drafts and apply feedback from editor via Google Docs
- Meet deadlines and submit work to editor for feedback and approval
- Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Identify what our audience wants to read and pitch new topics regularly
- Ensure consistency and quality (style, tone, images, SEO, etc)
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role preferred
- Candidates currently located in or around the greater Tokyo area strongly preferred
- Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field preferred
- Familiarity with implementing SEO best practices
- Experience conducting research and generating ideas independently
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at once is essential
Compensation is $35 - $55 per article depending on length, quality and experience.
