>>> WHO WE ARE
We've a UK start up that's developed a platform called 'Raffall' which is not only the first and only raffle platform of its kind to be approved by Facebook, Apple, Google and PayPal; but is also the first platform that legally enables its users to host their own competitions for commercial purposes.
The platform consists of two main features that are: pay-to-enter raffles hosted by other users; and a free-to-enter lottery hosted by us and funded by advertising instead of ticket sales.
Our main value proposition is that we provide a truly unique platform that enables people, businesses, charities and celebrities the ability to host and promote their own raffles online.
>>> WHAT WE NEED
We need a creative, experienced and highly talented writer that has the ability to write exceptional content to be used for press releases, blogs and websites.
>>> WHO WE WANT
You should be a native English speaker and ideally from the UK. You will be someone that can immediately see the benefits in what we've created as well as having the ability to see its future potential! You must possess that creative talent that enables you to create snappy, engaging content for a range of different target audiences.
If you have contacts within the media, that’s an added bonus but not essential.
If you have experience working with online PR distribution software/networks, that’s a bonus but not essential too.
We believe that not only is the platform very PR ‘able due to the fact that we're the first and without any direct competitors, but also because it lends itself to endless PR hooks depending on who's raffling what products! The possibilities are endless:
- Win David Beckham to play on your Sunday team - £2.00 per ticket, all proceeds go UNICEF
- Win a Mercedes
- Win a London apartment hosted by Galliard Homes
- Win a MAC cosmetics makeover + £200 MAC Gift Card
- Win Adele concert tickets
- Win a date with a TOWIE star for charity
Your first tasks will be to create a press release that can be distributed to the media/journalists in the hope to get some positive PR for the app. However we’re looking for someone that we can develop a strong relationship with in order to use for all of our content requirements in the future.
Please send us a link to your work, perhaps a press release written by you or examples of articles you’ve written. If we believe that you’ve applied without reading or digesting any of the information above, then we will not contact you to discuss this role in more detail.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you!
