This is a trial run for a creative copywriter/editor which could lead to much more work.
We have conducted hundreds of one-on-one 60-minute podcast interviews and we would like to turn each (20 to 35 page transcripts) into a How To Guide or White Paper (open to either format). The idea is to format each in a clear summary of key takeaways and detail the remaining content into easy to read chunks. Excellent use of headlines, subheads, and bullet points is essential.
Resources are often littered throughout the interview. These and other "Power User" tips should stand out in the document.
The final product should NOT read like an interview (it already does), but can quote/reference the guest expert as needed. We encourage the copywriter/editor to remove fluff and focus on creating a high quality document our target audience of emerging professional speakers will value.
I've attached an example of the type of guide we're going for (this has nothing to do with my company; it's just a nice looking guide). You don't need to have artistic/layout skills, but that would be a nice bonus. We plan to have a graphic designer put together a template we can use with the entire set of documents.
