My wife and I own a couple of vacation rentals. Our housekeepers require me to submit a web form (wufoo based) for every new booking we receive. I usually do this at the beginning of each month, but if a last minute booking gets added I have occasionally forgotten to go back and submit the new booking to the cleaning company. I'd like to see if it's possible to automate the process of entering bookings into their web form. My hope is to accomplish the following: [login to view URL] system sends an email to my inbox every time a new booking is received. The email contains only the text that needs to be inserted into the web form (I already have this automatic email set up). 2. An applescript would be triggered to run using a rule in Mac Mail any time an email is received with the specified subject. [login to view URL] script would open the url for the web form and use the text from the email to complete the form fields, then submit the form. Is this possible, and can someone help me write this script on a very limited budget?
I can provide you an AppleScript that will receive fields as input parameters (from your Mac Mail rule), open web form URL and automatically complete all fields in your target form and next submit it. I can complete it in less than two days for just $130 and all I need to start is your web form URL.
