Hi, The real win here is removing the reconciliation work—not simply replacing Excel with an app. I’d structure this around one order lifecycle: order → payment confirmation → ledger → stock deduction → kitchen totals → delivery → invoice. The customer web/mobile interfaces and admin panel then become views of that same source of truth. For UPI, I’d use server-side payment callbacks with idempotency so a retry cannot duplicate an order or ledger entry. Your Excel/VBA data would be mapped into customers, order history and opening balances before cutover, preserving unpaid amounts. I’d also keep subscriptions and one-off orders on the same underlying model, while making menu pricing, pauses, discounts and reminders configurable from admin. I’ve worked on Flutter commerce flows and a React/Express/Prisma commerce system covering payments, inventory, order lifecycle and production hardening.
