Will recurring tasks repeat automatically into the calendar, or will you enter each date manually? Should the Kanban board move tasks by status column only, or do you expect drag-and-drop? Do you want the Gantt chart linked to one master task sheet, or separate sheets for each view? Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. I’ve done similar Excel automation work before. Not editing, but rebuilding clean files from scratch. Sure, I can build a new workbook in English with better layout and simple navigation. My approach is usually one main task table, then calendar, dashboard, gantt, kanban read from that. Setup sheet for lists / priorities / recurrence rules so user only types once. Monthly + weekly calendar with formulas, not manual. Recurring tasks expanded using helper table so dates calculate automatically. Kanban using status columns + filters, keeps file stable. Dashboard from summary formulas, not hard-coded. Decision matrix with calculated priority field. Also better to separate input sheets and view sheets, otherwise formulas break later. I always do that. Formulas preferred, small VBA only if Excel limits appear. Final file will be fully in English and built new. Should recurring tasks be generated for the full year, yes or no?
