Any app that writes to Tally synchronously will lose orders the moment the Tally PC is off. So I would build it queue-first: - The app is the system of record for orders; a sync service pushes vouchers (sales orders, invoices, receipts, ledger entries) into Tally through its XML/HTTP gateway, retries until confirmed, and reconciles — every voucher lands exactly once, even after Tally downtime. - Internal staff dashboard: create/edit/track orders, assigned tasks from managers, push-to-Tally status visible per document so nobody wonders whether accounts are current. - Customer portal: login, place orders, order status, invoice downloads — feeding the same queue. - Ledger mapping (customers, items, tax) agreed up front with your accountant, because that mapping is where Tally integrations usually go wrong. Proof: I built order and distribution tooling for a wholesaler — B2B ordering, warehouse and delivery apps, 18 services in production.
