The safest architecture is: Licensed market-data provider → WebSocket → Backend feed handler → Redis/cache → scalable API/WebSocket broadcast → Android/iOS The backend would maintain the live instruments, LTP, bid/ask, quantities, volume and OI, while all orders, positions, P&L and margins remain completely simulated. For scale, I’d use Flutter + Node.js/TypeScript + PostgreSQL + Redis/WebSockets, with the market feed connected only once to the backend and efficiently broadcast to users rather than creating one exchange-data connection per user. I’ve worked with real-time APIs, WebSockets, mobile applications and scalable backend systems, so I understand the engineering side. For this project, I would make provider/licensing verification the first milestone before committing you to an implementation that could later become unusable.
