I’m building an Excel workbook that must stay in sync with Zerodha’s Kite API, streaming both the full option chain and live market quotes in real time. Within the option chain I need every strike price for the selected symbol, its corresponding expiry dates, and the latest Open Interest and Volume figures to flow straight into the sheet the moment Zerodha publishes them. Here’s the workflow I have in mind: • The workbook opens, prompts for API key / secret, generates the request token and stores the access token securely. • A user-friendly input cell lets me type or pick the underlying (e.g., NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, any NSE stock). • Behind the scenes your code (Python with KiteConnect, xlwings or VBA—whichever you prefer) connects to Zerodha’s WebSocket for tick-by-tick prices while polling or parsing the option chain endpoint. • Excel refreshes each row automatically, no manual click needed, preserving formulas and conditional formatting I’ll add later. • If the API session expires, the workbook should refresh the token without losing data. • A lightweight latency indicator or timestamp cell will confirm the feed is still live. Deliverables 1. Unlocked Excel file with all live feeds wired up 2. Source code (Python/VBA) well commented 3. Step-by-step setup guide so I can re-generate API keys and deploy on another PC 4. Quick demo (video or screen-share) proving real-time streaming of option chain + price data for at least two symbols Acceptance criteria • Strike prices, expiry dates, OI and volume columns populate fully on first load and update continuously thereafter. • Live last-traded price, bid/ask and volume for the underlying refresh with no noticeable lag. • Workbook keeps running for a full market session without manual intervention or crashes. If any additional Zerodha compliance steps are required, mention them in the guide. Looking forward to getting this running before the next expiry week.

Hi there, I will integrate Zerodha's Kite Connect API and WebSocket into Excel (Python + xlwings or VBA) so the full NSE option chain, strike prices, expiries, OI and volume stream into sheets with token auto-refresh and minimal latency. - Deliverable 1: Unlocked Excel workbook with live WebSocket ticks and option-chain polling wired to sheets, auto-populating strikes, expiries, OI and volume on first load - Deliverable 2: Clean, commented Python (KiteConnect + xlwings) or VBA code that handles request-token flow, secure access token storage, token refresh and heartbeat timestamps - Deliverable 3: Step-by-step setup guide and demo video showing real-time streaming for two symbols - Risk/quality-control: backup checkpoint + staged deployment and post-deploy validation to ensure zero data loss during token refresh Skills: ✅ Kite Connect API ✅ Zerodha WebSocket ✅ Python + xlwings (or VBA) integration ✅ Low-latency streaming & OI/volume parsing ✅ Excel Windows deployment & automation ✅ Token refresh / secure storage Certificates: ✅ Microsoft® Certified: MCSA | MCSE | MCT ✅ cPanel® & WHM Certified CWSA-2 I am available to start immediately; Do you prefer Python+xlwings (recommended for stability) or a pure VBA implementation for the Excel-native solution? Best regards,

Hi, how are you doing? I have solid hands-on work with Zerodha Kite integration, live data streaming, and Excel automation using Python (KiteConnect) or VBA/xlwings to feed option chains and real-time quotes directly into sheets. I’ve built setups that auto-authenticate, refresh tokens, and push tick-by-tick data with minimal latency, plus clear setup guides and re-deploy steps. I can demo previous similar work and tailor the workflow to your exact symbols and expiry logic. Let me know if you’d like to discuss the specifics and timeline.

Hi, Keeping an Excel workbook live-synced with Zerodha's Kite API — streaming both futures and option chain data without lag or missed ticks — is exactly the kind of integration where the WebSocket layer needs to be rock solid before any cell formula sees a value. My approach: a lightweight Python bridge (using `kiteconnect` SDK + `websocket-client`) that subscribes to the required instrument tokens, buffers incoming ticks, and pushes data into Excel via `xlwings` COM automation. This keeps the heavy streaming logic out of VBA entirely — VBA stays thin and just renders. For the option chain specifically, I'd use a token map keyed on expiry + strike + instrument type so Greeks and LTP update in-place without row thrash. Rate limiting and reconnect logic get handled at the Python layer, not in Excel event handlers where they'd block the UI. Within 24 hours I can deliver a working prototype with NIFTY spot + one expiry's option chain live-updating in Excel — you test it against market hours and tell me what's missing. One question before I start: are you expecting this to run during pre-market for position planning, or strictly intraday? Best regards, Val
