Interesting project, I will build your social media platform on Node.js with a React frontend, giving you real-time capabilities, server-side rendering for SEO, and a modular codebase where new features plug in without touching existing logic. Auth will use JWT with bcrypt hashing and sensitive data encrypted at rest. I will structure the backend with a service-layer pattern and clear separation between routes, controllers, and data access, so any developer picking up the project can follow the flow immediately.
