Backend Developer

I’m building out the next round of services for Inboxlogy and need a back-end developer who lives and breathes JavaScript. Your main focus will be Web API development in Node.js—everything from designing new endpoints and modelling data to optimising performance and writing tests. You’ll work closely with our front-end team, turning product requirements into stable, well-documented routes that plug cleanly into our existing architecture. Expect to spend your days refining business logic, implementing authentication and authorisation, wiring up databases, and keeping our CI/CD pipeline green. Acceptance criteria for each feature: • RESTful or GraphQL endpoint returns the expected payload and status codes • Unit and integration tests cover core logic (minimum 80 % coverage) • Inline JSDoc plus a concise README for every service added • Dockerfile updated and builds successfully in staging If you’re comfortable choosing the Node framework you feel is best for the job and can communicate clearly in pull requests, I’d love to see your GitHub or a code sample that shows how you structure an API.
