We are rebuilding our Android app to allow printing to a Thermal POS printer.
Job Description main points:
- Use (or create if not available for our use cases) a Thermal POS printer simulator for local development like this one: [login to view URL]
- We need to be able to do to some test automation on our headless backend so both apps and simulator must be CI ready (custom docker container for both)
- Be able to provide a mockup app quickly to verify that integration works on real devices before complete app implementation
- Have 2+ years of writing high quality, maintainable, deployable, testable, and scalable React Native applications
- Have knowledge of most common software design and architectural patterns
- Have 2+ years experience with Android native modules integration in React Native
- Have 2+ years experience with REST JSON API integration on native apps
- Have 2+ years experience with CI/CD and TDD
- Work on a shared repository with many developers and many branches
- Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on reusability
- Be an outstanding teammate
