Inventory app/ Admin area
James must have a separate Backend store what functions with Admin lite
James is the owner of a garage sale store. Everyday people donate thousands of items to James store.
James has 10 volunteers who donate time for his store
James would like for those 10 volunteers to be able to open up their phone and use an app to input the inventory into his database.
But it must be done with ease.
So open the app then.
User logs into the app. Information must be able to be saved
1. Choose Category
2. Item name
5 Take pictures
6. Condition of item
7. (And other options)
8. A barcode is generated for the item then goes to be printed (possible by the system)
Once this step is completed the items go into a queue for being approved in James back end store on MY website [login to view URL]
James can look at information in the back end store area for things like
Cost per item category information all things.
James can also Import or Export the items in CSV format that shows all data information
Once James approve the items the items are then placed into the For Sale area of [login to view URL] with JAMES listed as the Person who owns that item.
Once a customer comes into James store and purchases the item The bar code goes on a list that will be imported into James backend of my website and must delete all items sold that day.
James should also have the ability in his admin to allow customers to request for pick up
This process has to be simple it has to have the least amount of steps possible
(request for Pickup function)
Customer chooses it.
The website gets a notification and so does James
When James sees the notification by email or by notification on the app
He can open it in email and approve the item
If he approves the item the person who sent the request gets a notification of when and where the pick up would be. Whatever James chooses
Personal use side of the app
As a customer who lives at home and wants to get rid of items
I have a desk I want to donate to donate to James store
I open the app
I enter all the information about the item.
I want the option to be able to choose Request pickup.
Then a notification must be sent to James app with all the information
The data of this item then go into a queue waiting to be accepted by James.
Once James approves the Request for pickup the item then is moved to a pending area in the James backend area where all other items that have been inventoried are.
A notification is sent to my phone and to any other user I choose to be notified for that store. I want to be able to assign people to certain stores to pick up the item.
When the person chooses to give their item to the store there must be an option for consignment or for donation.
James chooses what to charge for picking up the item charge for delivery or for if it will be free. James will give the price a

When the item is sold and the store scans the bar code it should remove the item from the site
CSV fill out needs to be set up to where the person fills out their information and uploads the pictures and then the data understands which picture belongs to which item
CSV should be able to be uploaded in James store area backend
