App that is activated when a motion sensor registers movement in a specific area - more sensors should be applicable (in different rooms).
What will the app do then? It will play a recorded audio file out loud in the room. The audio file is either a pre-recorded/'build-in' sentence read out loud/a sound - or the user can record a unique message themselves. In the ideal version it is possible to use TTS (text-to-speech) to write a sentence that a 'robot' will read out loud with a voice of the user's choice (that might be version 2).
The app will be used for my mother's husband who suffers from Dementia - he can't remember what happened 5 minutes ago, so he needs constant and repeated information.
When my mother is away from home for a short while, he cannot remember where she is and starts worrying.
The sensor will catch his motion and activate the app, that tells him where she is and when she will be back. Simple as that!
The simple task is to develop :
- A hybrid app that corresponds with a motion sensor and plays recorded audio out loud.
- The sensors will be either/and LoraWan and standard motion sensors (XXX MHz)
- There are many pre-coded apps that already are able to manage most of the described tasks, so it's mostly a small customization job for a skilled app developer.
The app must be easy to customize with content.
