Android App upload video modification, lambda, aws, api

currently, videos uploaded via our android app do not use serverless setup. On our website, we have the option to upload to our AWS pipeline which runs the video through s3, lambda, media converter, and out. We need our mobile app to use this same pipeline instead of the current ffmpeg server-based method.
We also require changes made to the lambda functions to check video dimensions so that videos recorded in portrait or horizontal are transcoded correctly. like discussed here: dealing with rotating videos and portrait, silent videos

changes made should be well documented with a list of file names and code changes supplied once work is finished.
