Hello, I’d love to build your Android social media app from scratch with a clean, scalable foundation. I’ll use Kotlin in Android Studio with MVVM and Clean Architecture to keep the code modular and easy to maintain. For UI, I strongly recommend Jetpack Compose instead of XML. It gives us a much more scalable and modern UI system, makes responsive layouts across screen sizes easier, and reduces boilerplate significantly. For backend, Firebase is ideal for the MVP. Firebase Authentication will manage secure signup/login and password recovery. And it will be good filt to handle real-time data syncing for the chronological feed, likes, and comments. Firebase Storage will manage photo and short video uploads with compression for performance. Security-wise, we’d enforce Firebase Security Rules (or Supabase RLS policies) so users can only edit their own content. Password recovery is handled through secure email reset flow via Firebase Auth. I also implement input validation both client-side and server-side to prevent malformed data.
