I need an Android macro to send texts in the same way that the attached python file sends out emails. Here's an explanation in words: This macro will send a single text message to each cellphone number in a csv file. The file name is contacts.csv. The file will be located in Downloads folder of the Android device. The texts will be sent at random intervals based on how many texts are being sent and what the time period is within which the texts are to be sent. The first text is sent as soon as the macro is run. The macro will have a UI with these inputs: First line number; The line number of the csv file for the first of the numbers where the text is to be sent. Last line number: The line number of the csv file for the last of the numbers where the text is to be sent. Send within: The number of minutes following the sending of the first text that the remainder of the texts will be sent. Randomization means that texts are sent at random intervals according to how many texts have ben selected for sending and how many minutes are allotted for sending them. Randomization does not mean sending texts every X minutes when X = Last line number – First line number / Send within The macro will have one output display: Last line sent, which corresponds to the line number for the last phone number to which a text has been sent during the Send within period. If for some reason the text cannot be submitted to a number, the macro would not stop but would proceed to the next number for texting. Please let me know of any questions. .

Hi, I've built Python automation and delivered a DevOps integration workflow contract that leaned heavily on Python scripting, so porting your email logic to an Android texting flow is close ground. One thing to nail down: the randomization. You want intervals drawn so the sends spread naturally across the "Send within" window, not fixed spacing. I'd generate random offsets inside the window, sort them, fire the first immediately, and skip forward on any failed number without stopping. Question: should the "Last line sent" display update live as each text goes out, or only at the end of the window? I can start with a small milestone covering the CSV read from Downloads and the UI inputs, so you only release once you see it running. How is the app allowed to send texts, default SMS app or an API? Adil

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer experienced in automation tools and mobile applications. I understand your need: convert Python email logic into an Android macro for SMS distribution. Here's what you need: read phone numbers from a CSV file in Downloads, send texts within a specified time window with random spacing, and track progress via UI. The first message goes immediately, then remaining texts distribute randomly across remaining time. Failed sends don't stop the process. I've handled similar automation projects where timing and reliability matter. Main challenges are correct randomization to prevent clustering and reliable CSV access with proper permissions. My approach: First, I'll clarify which Android automation framework you're using. Then I'll build the CSV parser for your line range, create a timing engine distributing sends with randomization, design the UI for your three inputs, and implement SMS sending with error handling and progress tracking. The key technical consideration is the randomization algorithm. Texts must spread naturally across your time window by calculating intervals dynamically based on remaining texts and time, then adding random variance. This prevents clustering while meeting your deadline. One realistic risk: Android's SMS restrictions vary by device and version. We'll need thorough testing and potential retry logic with backoff for failed sends. I'm ready to start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Thanks, Denis.

Reading the CSV from the device Downloads directory while handling Android scoped storage permissions reliably is the main operational hurdle here. Tasker with a small JavaScriptlet or a standalone Kotlin app using Android JobScheduler will handle the randomized scheduling intervals cleanly without getting killed by background power management. The CSV parsing logic from your Python script can be ported directly into the execution loop. Are you planning to build this inside an existing automation tool like Tasker, or do you need a standalone native APK?

I can build this app within 3 days. However, there’s one important constraint to clarify: Should all SMS messages continue sending when the app is in the background or closed? Android restricts long-running background processes, so relying on the app itself to send SMS for several hours may not be reliable. A better approach would be to connect the app to an online backend that handles the scheduling and sends the SMS through a service such as Twilio. The app would handle the UI, CSV, and settings, while the backend handles the actual SMS delivery.

Hello, I’ve built a Python script that automates SMS sending for a client, similar to your needs—it reads contacts from a CSV and sends messages with randomized delays to avoid detection. I’d approach this by using Android’s Accessibility Service to simulate taps and text inputs, since ADB automation can be unreliable. The biggest challenge will be handling network delays and carrier restrictions, which I’ll address with retry logic and error logging. This setup ensures messages are sent reliably without manual intervention. Proper randomization will distribute sends evenly, avoiding bursts that might trigger spam filters. I’ll provide a UI with the inputs you described and log the last sent line for tracking. After delivery, I’ll test the macro on your device to confirm it works as expected. If this approach sounds right, I’d be happy to discuss the details further. Thanks, Lazar.

Hi There! We specialize in Android automation and can build a reliable SMS workflow for opted-in contacts based on your Python process. Our team of 62 professionals has 9+ years of experience and 450+ completed projects. We can create the Android UI for CSV range selection, configurable sending windows, immediate first-message handling, randomized scheduling where appropriate, progress tracking through “Last line sent,” and error handling so one failed recipient doesn’t stop the workflow. We’ll also ensure the implementation follows Android and SMS-provider requirements. Would these messages be strictly for contacts who have explicitly opted in to receive them?

Hi, Quantum Code Solutions is available to transform your Android automated messaging requirements into a reliable, streamlined macro solution. The core of an efficient SMS macro lies in reading from local CSV storage, handling dynamic line-range inputs, and calculating non-uniform random time intervals to dispatch texts smoothly within your specified timeframe. We plan to utilize a robust automation tool like Tasker or Macrodroid to build a clean user interface for line selection, error handling to prevent script halts on invalid numbers, and live execution tracking for the last processed row. Recently, our team delivered a customized Android automation workflow utilizing local CSV parsing and interval-based SMS broadcasting. We configured dynamic UI inputs for user-defined parameters, implemented resilient exception handling so execution uninterruptedly jumps to the next contact upon sending errors, and integrated real-time state variables to log active progress. Our work ensured total execution stability while keeping the interface completely straightforward for daily operation. Let's discuss in more detail now. Reach out to initiate a conversation! Best regards, Quantum Code Solutions

Hi there, The hard part is not sending texts but ensuring they follow the specified timing and randomness based on user inputs. Implementing a macro that reads from a CSV file and sends messages at varied intervals requires careful handling of timing logic to avoid overlapping or missing numbers. I recommend using a combination of Android's native messaging capabilities and a scheduling mechanism to achieve the desired randomization based on your input parameters. This approach can ensure that texts are sent efficiently without blocking the process, even when facing errors with specific numbers. Could you clarify if there are any specific formatting requirements for the text messages? Thank you.

Hi, there. "CREATE ANDROID MACRO FROM PYTHON FILE" — you need an Android automation app that converts the existing Python workflow into a mobile interface for controlled SMS sending from a CSV contact list. I’ll build the Android application with a simple UI for selecting the CSV range, configuring the sending period, running the process, and displaying the latest completed line. The logic will handle randomized timing, continue processing after individual failures, and keep the workflow stable during longer runs. I’ll structure the app with Android-native components, CSV file handling from the Downloads folder, background execution support, permission management, and error handling so the macro can operate reliably without stopping when a single message fails. Do you already have the Python file logic finalized, including the exact message format and any required validation rules before sending? Looking forward to working with you.

Hello, I reviewed your requirements and understand that you need an Android application that reads contact numbers from a CSV file, provides a simple UI for selecting the required rows, sends messages, and displays the latest successfully processed line. I can build the Android interface, CSV parsing, validation, progress tracking, error handling, and resume functionality so that an individual failed contact does not stop the overall process. For messaging, I would implement the workflow using Android supported messaging capabilities and appropriate rate limits for contacts who have given permission to receive the messages. I would avoid randomized timing intended to bypass platform anti spam controls. I can provide the complete Android project, setup instructions, testing, and a short handover so the application is easy to use and maintain. Looking forward to discussing the compliant messaging workflow with you.

genuinely randomized intervals across the requested time window. I’d implement it with Kotlin/Android, keeping the UI simple: CSV loaded from the device’s Downloads folder. Inputs for First line, Last line, and Send within (minutes). First selected number receives the message immediately. Remaining sends are distributed using randomized delays across the specified window rather than a fixed interval. Last line sent displayed and updated after each successful submission. Failed/invalid numbers are logged/skipped so one failure does not stop the batch. Ability to handle Android lifecycle/background restrictions reliably. Clear validation for missing CSV, invalid line ranges and scheduling parameters. Testing with different contact counts and time windows. Production APK + complete Android Studio source. I’d also keep the sending logic separate from the UI so the scheduling algorithm can be tested independently and the app remains maintainable.

Hi, The core challenge is distributing texts across a time window with true randomization—not uniform intervals—while handling failures gracefully. I've built similar batch automation systems and understand the difference between what sounds random and what actually works. I'd build this as a native Android app using Kotlin. Key technical decisions: store CSV parsing logic separately for testability, use WorkManager for scheduling (more reliable than raw timers), and calculate random intervals upfront so each text gets a genuinely random delay within your time window. For randomization, I'd divide your "Send within" period by the text count to get an average interval, then apply random jitter around that—ensuring even distribution while staying unpredictable. On error handling, if a text fails, the app logs it, records the failure reason, and moves to the next number without stopping. The UI shows the last successfully sent line number in real time so you can track progress. Two important considerations: Android's SMS permissions and carrier rate limiting. I'll handle permission requests properly and add a small buffer between sends if needed to avoid throttling. I'll also test across Android versions to ensure reliable background scheduling. This keeps the system simple to maintain—you can modify the CSV format or time logic without touching the core scheduling engine. Ready to start whenever you are. Thanks, Felix.
