I already have phpList installed on my Hostinger shared hosting account and my Amazon SES SMTP credentials are ready to go. What I need is a clean, working connection between the two so I can start sending bulk newsletters without deliverability headaches. Here’s the current state: • phpList folder is live and accessible. • Amazon SES is verified in the correct region, SMTP user and password have been generated. • No SMTP details have been entered in phpList yet. What I need from you: 1. Edit the phpList config so it points to the SES SMTP endpoint (TLS / port 587) with my provided username and password. 2. Make sure authentication and encryption are enforced exactly as SES requires. 3. Adjust any rate-limit or throttle settings in phpList so I stay within SES send quotas. 4. Run a live test campaign to a test list and confirm mail is accepted by SES and lands in the inbox. 5. Hand over a short, commented summary of the changes you made so I can replicate them on staging later. Acceptance criteria: • Test message shows “Sent” in phpList with no errors in the event log. • Amazon SES dashboard reflects the send, zero rejections. • I receive the test email in Gmail (primary inbox, not spam). Everything else—bounce handling, DKIM/SPF alignment, or future automation—is outside this task’s scope; I just need the core SMTP link working reliably today.
