Generic bids, copy-paste proposals, and AI-generated cover letters will be rejected on sight. ### Overview I'm looking for a Technical Business Analyst who can own client communication, turn ideas into clear requirements, and then work with Claude Code to deliver working features. You'll act as a mini product owner + delivery engineer across multiple SaaS products (e.g. TimeBreeze, HubDoc). ### Key Responsibilities **Client Communication** - Lead requirement-gathering calls and ongoing check-ins - Ask structured questions to clarify goals, constraints, and edge cases - Run demos, capture feedback, and turn it into updated requirements **Requirements & Documentation** - Translate discussions into clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria - Maintain lightweight but accurate documentation (requirements, decisions, change log) - Identify gaps, dependencies, and risks early and propose options **Delivery and Coordination** - Work directly with the founder to prioritise and sequence work - Keep work moving without "busy work": focus on outcomes, not process theatre - Provide short, timely updates (what was done, what's next, blockers) **Hands-on Implementation with Claude Code** - Use Claude Code (and related tools) to generate and iterate on application code - Wire up features end-to-end where possible (within your technical comfort zone) - Perform basic testing and validation before handing work off for review ### Must-Have Skills - Excellent spoken and written English (client calls, documentation, async updates) - Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or hybrid BA/Developer in software projects - Strong requirements skills: user stories, acceptance criteria, simple process flows - Technical literacy: comfortable reading and discussing code, APIs, and data models - Experience using AI coding tools (preferably Claude Code) to generate or refactor code - High ownership mindset: proactive, organised, and focused on delivering working software ### Nice-to-Have - Experience with SaaS products, B2B clients, or internal tools - Familiarity with Agile practices (backlog management, sprint-style planning, demos) - Comfort working in overlapping time zones with Ireland (IST preferred) ### Working Style - Remote role, individual contributor working closely with the founder - Clear, frequent communication via chat and quick calls - No fluff: I value concise updates, realistic estimates, and honest reporting --- ## Paid Trial Task (How We'll Start) If we're a potential fit, we'll begin with a short paid trial project: **You'll receive:** - A short recorded "client-style" briefing or written brief for a small feature (e.g. for TimeBreeze or HubDoc) - Access to the existing repo (read/write) and environment details **Your task (within an agreed timebox):** - Extract and structure requirements into: - 3–7 user stories - Clear acceptance criteria - Any assumptions/questions you still have - Propose a small delivery plan (what you'll implement first, how you'll demo it) - Use Claude Code to help implement at least one small feature or change (e.g. an API endpoint, UI change, or workflow tweak) - Provide: - Updated documentation (requirements + decisions) - A short loom-style demo or written walkthrough - A brief status note: what's done, what's left, risks This trial is fully paid and is the main way we'll assess real working style, communication, and delivery.
