Video editing

Looking for a professional video editor to assist with video editing of weekly approximately 7-11 min educational videos. The edited videos must be of at least similar quality initially to this video ([login to view URL]), and over time of increasingly higher quality in editing, style, sound etc. We assume the price you bid is the price for each video. We will only consider fixed price bids. This is a free show so sustainable weekly cost of editing is an important requirement. No hourly bids will be accepted. If the bid excluded any expected costs needed to complete the video, please mention these. The successful editor must take ownership of this work. Offer us ideas and suggestions and make it work. We are not media experts to know what is best. Besides the effects in the sample video below, every single video must have ONE NEW/different effect to that which exists in these videos. This allows each video to be slightly different from all the others. Here are some additional items to consider. 1. We will send the raw video files every week, on a Sunday night Toronto time. They will arrive by very early morning Monday on the editors time. 2. We plan to send across the files for one video per week, but may send more than one set of files in some weeks. 3. Holidays, technical problems etc. may result in us not sending files in some weeks. We will communicate this to you in advance, whenever possible. We still expect to produce about 45 to 48 videos a year minimum. We are considering to engage 2 editors to allow for delays/emergencies. 4. Payment will be made upon receiving the final edited files. 5. Payment will only be made if: a. The files are edited correctly. (We will use the first edited video as a basis for comparison.) b. The files are received on time c. If the deadline is missed or the files are correctly edited, we will not be able to keep to our own internal deadlines. 6. Below is the proposed editing timetable we will follow: a. Sunday: send files to editor b. Monday: Editing by editor c. Tuesday: Editing by editor d. Wednesday 8am New York Time: Finished draft received by us e. Wednesday 2pm: We send edits to editor f. Wednesday afternoon: Editing g. Thursday: Editing h. Friday 6am ET: Finished files sent to us in two formats: Youtube HD and Highest HD format 7. Each video edited in each subsequent week will require: a. Small changes like the color of the text and effects. b. One new effect in each video to show variety 8. We require a receipt for all payments made 9. We will also send approximately 2 to 4 podcasts a week for assembly and volume control. These require no cutting. Simple take three/four MP3 files and place them together and correct the sound 10. Please note the following: a. Our material, including finished videos, cannot be used as part of any advertising or work portfolio in any form or manner whatsoever without our permission. b. We expect the editor to manage his own time to ensure the targets and deadlines are met. 11. The editor will receive the files via on online file transfer system and will consist of approximately 10-14 video files with instructions on the order in which they need to be assembled. The size of all the files is usually between 9 GB and 12 GB.
