Project Description: I am looking for an aeronautical or RC aircraft designer to produce a 3D-printable airframe design for a fixed-wing recreational drone with twin tractor motors. Configuration: - Twin tractor (puller) motors on the wing leading edge - Counter-rotating propellers (CW left, CCW right) - No control surfaces — no ailerons, rudder, elevator, or servos - Strong Dihedral for passive roll stability (designer to recommend angle) Parameters: - Wingspan: 1–2 m - Payload capacity: 1 kg Construction: - All parts segmented for a Bambu Lab printer bed (256 × 256 mm) - PLA preferred; note any sections where PETG or carbon-tube spar reinforcement is recommended Requirements: - Engine mounts integrated into the wing leading edge (tractor configuration, one per side) - Centralized payload bay (~1 kg), positioned at or near the CG - Battery bay positioned for correct CG - Wiring channels to wingtips and tail for navigation lights (red port, green starboard, white tail) Deliverables: - Native CAD files (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or comparable) - Ready-to-slice STL files, organised by section — single-material print - CG location and recommended dihedral angle - Build notes: print settings, layer orientation, and any reinforcement recommendations - XFLR5 aerodynamic validation of the chosen airfoil and wing planform, including: > Lift and drag polars at the expected flight Reynolds numbers > Stall speed estimate at the design all-up weight > Stable CG range If you have previous examples of printable fixed-wing designs, please include them with your proposal.
