Matching them shot by shot before any grading is where I start, so the ceremony does not shift color every time the angle cuts. How I would approach your wedding: Story first. I watch everything before cutting, then build the reel around the moments that carry emotion — the look before the vows, the reaction in the crowd, the candid frame nobody staged. Trimming comes after the story, not before. The vows and speeches get real audio work. Noise reduction, level matching between speakers, and the soundtrack ducked underneath so every word is intelligible. This is the thing most highlight reels get wrong; you will hear the difference on a phone speaker. Names and date in clean, tasteful motion graphics — elegant, not templated. Gentle grade for warmth, nothing that dates the film in five years. Music: send your song and I cut to it. If you would rather I suggest, I will send two licensed options with a short preview cut of each so you choose from something real, not a description.
