On 30fps CCTV a plain speed change repeats frames, which reads as tampering, and zooming in tight pushes the timestamp out of frame, so the image no longer ties to a time. The source file stays untouched and each export is written separately, so the original survives any later review. Interpolation gets picked for the actual framerate rather than applied as a preset, because slow motion over 30fps footage judders whatever speed is set. The timestamp stays locked to the original clock and visible through the zoom, so time and image never separate. The push runs from wide frame to close at a constant rate, since a jump mid move pulls the eye to the edit instead of the subject. Highlighting uses a circle, arrow, or dimmed surround that pulls focus to the object or action while the surrounding area stays in view.
